As a Lean Construction Leader for DPR Construction, Peter Berg takes his Design-Build technical expertise and pushes the boundaries of what he built yesterday for what he may build more effectively, more efficiently and with greater results today. He has led the design-build of the Phoenix Biomedical Campus for over 10 years, and with his eighth LEED®-NC building, the 245,000-sq.-ft., 10-story University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix Campus’ Biomedical Sciences Partnership Building (BSPB), nearing its final third of construction, he has helped create a Culture of Lean within the entire Team – Owners, Architects, Contractors, Subcontractors and Vendors.
Peter embodies DPR’s commitment to the community, “to be integral and indispensable to the communities in which we work,” as a Lean Construction Planning lecturer for Arizona State University’s Construction Research and Education for Advanced Technology Environments (ASU CREATE) and a reoccurring presenter for ASU’s Alliance for Construction Excellence (ACE).
